You Are Not Alone
Anxiety that won't quiet down. ADHD that's been misunderstood for years. Depression that makes even small things feel impossible. Burnout that's left you running on empty. Whatever you're carrying — it doesn't have to stay this heavy.
"Getting help isn't a sign of weakness. It's one of the bravest things you can do for yourself."
Take the First Step →Every patient deserves more than symptom management. At Whole Body & Mind Health, I practice a comprehensive, layered approach that addresses your mental health from every angle.
Rigorous, evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management form the clinical backbone of your care. We use the most current research and diagnostic tools to build an accurate, personalized picture of your mental health.
Mental wellness doesn't exist in isolation. We explore how sleep, nutrition, lifestyle, relationships, and physical health intersect with your psychiatric wellbeing — treating the whole person, not just a diagnosis.
Complex conditions require specialized, ongoing attention. From ADHD assessment to trauma-informed care, we provide targeted expertise tailored to your unique needs — with consistent, compassionate follow-through.
"I went into psychiatry because I believe everyone deserves to feel heard — not just treated."
I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of experience in family medicine before transitioning into psychiatric care. That background shapes how I approach every appointment — because your mental health doesn't exist in isolation from the rest of your life.
My clinical perspective was grounded early on by five years of intensive work with first responders — an experience that deepened my commitment to resilience and specialized support. That dedication led me to complete my doctoral research on LGBT+ health, focused on expanding provider education and ensuring equitable, inclusive care for every patient who walks through my door.
I've served as faculty at multiple universities, including the University of Florida, and have been recognized as a national speaker on preventative care and metabolic health. But what I value most is the trust built one appointment at a time — seeing you as a whole person, not just a chart. Outside of practice, travel, staying active, and time with my cats keep me grounded — and remind me what a genuinely fulfilling life can look like.
Focused, expert psychiatric services designed to meet you where you are and guide you toward sustainable mental wellness.
Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management tailored to your unique neurochemistry, history, and wellness goals.
Secure, HIPAA-compliant video appointments that bring expert psychiatric care directly to you — wherever you are, on your schedule.
In-depth initial assessments to understand your full psychiatric history, current symptoms, and develop a meaningful care plan together.
Continuity of care through regular check-ins, responsive communication, and adjustments to your plan as your needs evolve.
A thorough ADHD assessment goes far beyond a checklist. I conduct structured clinical interviews, validated rating scales, and a detailed developmental history to build a complete and accurate picture — for both adults and adolescents.
Many adults and adolescents have lived for years with undiagnosed or misdiagnosed ADHD — struggling in school, work, and relationships without understanding why. I provide thorough, compassionate ADHD evaluations that give you real answers and a clear path forward.
Whether you're an adult finally seeking answers or a parent concerned about your teen, my ADHD assessments are designed to be accurate, thorough, and affirming — not just a quick questionnaire.
From your first inquiry to long-term care, here's exactly what you can expect when becoming a patient at Whole Body & Mind Health.
Fill out the intake form on this page with your name, contact info, and a brief description of what you're experiencing. There's no lengthy paperwork at this stage — just the basics so my team can reach out promptly.
Once your request is received, my team will verify your insurance benefits and confirm your coverage before your first appointment. You'll receive all necessary new patient paperwork electronically to complete at your convenience — including health history, consent forms, and a symptom questionnaire.
Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation — not a rushed visit. I will review your history in detail, ask thoughtful questions about your symptoms, daily functioning, past treatments, and personal goals. You'll have plenty of time to share everything on your mind. Together, we'll develop an individualized treatment plan — whether that involves medication, further assessment, referrals, or a combination.
If medication is started, a follow-up appointment is typically scheduled within 2–4 weeks to assess your response, monitor for side effects, and make any necessary adjustments. I am responsive and accessible — if something comes up between appointments, you're not left waiting.
As your treatment stabilizes, follow-up appointments typically move to every 1–3 months depending on your needs. I continue to monitor your progress, adjust your plan as your life evolves, and coordinate with any therapists, primary care providers, or specialists involved in your care. Your wellness journey is ongoing — and so is my support.
